Lifehacks help people accomplish more with less effort—the same way the RDX lets them drive with smart and innovative technology. We created videos showing innovative lifehacks that highlight the features of the RDX.

8-speed playlist

We collaborated with eight up-and-coming musical artists to create an ultimate 8-Speed playlist that matches the experience of driving the new Acura ILX. 8 tracks for 8 speeds

The 8-Speed Playlist was housed on a custom Tumblr page along with supporting campaign content.

catch it if you can

To drive social conversation and excitement around the “Catch It If You Can” campaign, we created and experience that illustrated the speed of 8-speed transmission in the Acura ILX.

We tapped five illustrators with strong followings on social media to create animated story that featured the Acura ILX. Each artist interpreted the Acura ILX in their own illustration style while all five boxes worked together to show the ILX driving through five very different visual environments. The illustrations were used to create a physical art installation as well as a sweepstakes on the Acura social channels.

We invited fans to participate in a fun and engaging social program. Users were able to “catch” the ILX by taking a screenshot of one of five videos posted on Instagram for a chance to win a limited edition print from one of our artists.

Thrill frames

We reinvented CRM for the Acura Summer Sales Event by turning direct mail into an opportunity to connect with fans on social.  Potential new owners were given a way to picture what it’s like to enjoy their summer in a brand-new Acura.

Transparent frames were distributed through the mail that allowed fans to picture the places they would drive their new Acura’s. Awareness of summer sales event was raised with compelling UGC content from influencers and fans that was tailored to perform on our social channels.
